Gifted to the Club

A number of items have been gifted to the club over the years, included in these are the lecturn opposite by Master Craftsman Alec Cuthbertson and the gavel and hammer shown below by Rob Turnbull.

The presidents book is a faithful reminder of those speakers who have entertained the club across the years at any of it's annual events. The book holds both a photographic record and a compilation of comments from those speakers within (below). The hand crafter case was again the work of Alec Cuthebertson.

 

The trowel and paperweight opposite commemorate the opening of Hawick Youth Centre in 1968.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

While the piano stool opposite is a memorial to the late, fondly remembered, Adam Ingles
