Over 50 years supporting the Common Riding
Sometime after the Common Riding of 1962, disappointed at being unable to obtain tickets for Common Riding events this year, five Hawick men, Dod Robson, Ronnie Murphy, Ronnie Tait, Moosie Arries and Tam Underwood met in The Queens Head to discuss holding their own dinner next year.
The Annual Burns Supper was held on the Friday 13th January, and you can see a large selection of photos from the Burns Supper on the Gallery Page. This section has galleries going back to 2007.

The next committee meeting will be held on Wednesday 25th February in the Border Club, and details of club business are to be found on the Events Page.
The 1514 club is involved in various projects and events in the area. The photo above is the presentation to Rory Anderson, winner of the Uphill Mile trophy, his prize being presented by Alan Brown.
There is involvement with schools, retirement homes and a number of other causes - all of which are listed in the Friends Page.
